Elizabeth is a proud native of the Washington, D.C. area and grew up in Potomac and Rockville, MD.
She attended Duke University for her undergraduate degree in Religion and Psychology, returned to the Duke University School of Nursing for her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and completed her Masters in Nursing at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing where she completed an additional certification in Global Health.
She is Board Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Before becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Elizabeth worked for five years on the Hematology and Oncology floor at Children's National Medical Center in DC where she loved to care for patients and practice her skills in medical Spanish-speaking.
She lives in DC with her husband and very large dog and enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, traveling and taking her puppy out to play.
